SPACE was named after "safe and comfortable space, high loading efficiency", "space-advanced", and "expanding the field of work".
RANGER was named after "the truck for the professional that constantly evolves, meets customer expectations and promises profits". The name of RANGER was decided from the open call for public participation when the 1964 Ranger was launched.
