SAAB emblems, logos and badges - Origin, Meaning, History |
The SAAB emblem logo is derived from the Greek mythology Griffin: English (Griffon: French). In 1968, this company was merged with Scania-VABIS, the truck and bus manufacturer, to become Saab-SCANIA AB. In 1987, SAAB adopted the Griffin design traditionally used by SCANIA for its emblem. |
